CARPET TRACK RACING RULES

Effective 10/3/19

ALL CLASSES 
Any questions should be discussed with the race director
No height restriction
Track clearance 5mm minimum
No external roll bars, wings, or spoilers unless they are an usual or integral part of the vehicle
Bumpers and nerf bars must not extend beyond the tire width
Body must be painted
Battery must be any 6 cell 2/3A NiCad, NiMh or 2 cell LiPo (maximum of 2800mA)
Any surface radio
Only odorless traction compound is allowed
No other restrictions or modifications except as specified per class
If your vehicle doesn’t conform to the rules, the race director may permit you to race, but you will not be scored until the correction has been made

MIDGET
CHASSIS: 1RC RACING 1/18 Midget   
BATTERY: Any 2/3AAA 5 cell (maximum of 250mA)
REPLACEMENT AND OPTIONAL PARTS:  Must be for the 1RC 1/18 Midget 
TRANSPONDER: Must be attached to right side nerf bar

LATE MODEL
CHASSIS: 16th scale Traxxas Rally, Slash or Revo (Revo must have Rally or Slash suspension arms)  Modifications that are allowed include metal suspension arms, links, push rods, and axle carriers.  Modifications that are not allowed include sway bars, center differential, metal chassis.
BODY:  The Mcallister Batesville 1/18th for the Losi Mini-Late model fits best.  Any other Dirt Late Model of the same size may be used 
MOTOR: Stock brushed or brushless
ESC: Stock, must be set in training mode
WHEELS AND TIRES: Any rubber tire (maximum diameter of 2.65 inches)  

NASCAR
CHASSIS: Any 12th scale direct drive, straight axle, pan car
BODY: 12th scale NASCAR - Body must be cut like NASCAR
Rear panel my be cut out but no other drastic modifications allowed
GEARS: Spur/Pinion: 88/27 (3.26:1), 94/29 (3.24:1, 98/30 (3.27:1), or 100/31 (3.23:1)
ESC: Open – must be in blinky mode
MOTOR: HOBBYWING Justock 25.5 brushless - Fixed timing
WHEELS AND TIRES: Any 12th scale (maximum diameter of 1.9 inches)

NASTRUCK
CHASSIS: Any 12th scale direct drive, straight axle, pan car
BODY: 12th scale NASTRUCK - Body must be cut like NASTRUCK 
Rear panel my be cut out but no other drastic modifications allowed 
GEARS: Spur/Pinion: 88/25 (3.25:1), 94/27 (3.48:1), 98/28 (3.50:1), or 100/29 (3.45:1)
ESC: HOBBYWING Justock – must be in blinky mode
MOTOR: HOBBYWING Justock 25.5 brushless - Fixed timing
WHEELS AND TIRES: Any 12th scale (maximum diameter of 1.9 inches)

SPRINT
CHASSIS: Any 12th scale direct drive, straight axle, pan car – no left turn only chassis
BODY: Wind Tunnel 1/12 scale Sprint, may be cut to fit chassis
GEARS: Spur/Pinion: 88/25 (3.52:1), 94/27 (3.48:1), 98/28 (3.50:1), or 100/29 (3.45:1)
ESC: HOBBYWING Justock – must be in blinky mode
MOTOR: HOBBYWING Justock 25.5 brushless - Fixed timing
WHEELS AND TIRES: Any 12th scale (maximum diameter of 1.9 inches)

LEGEND
